I am back in the game 😊
My pottery kiln is installed and I have actually made and fired some pots.
I am excited about making the decoration part of the pot as I create it. These pots were imprinted with leaves from my garden, glazed while still on the wheel, then slip trailed for the last flourish.
I tried everything just for fun – Grevillia, Jacaranda, Tansy, Lily pilly, Even mulberry and clover! Because there was a lot of experimenting there is not a lot of saleable pots this time but a few very promising ideas on the boil.
