Gathering Storm – Original Acrylic painting

This one is exciting as it continues my obsession with painting my favourite trees from life. These paintings are proving to be popular with collectors. Somehow the joy I find in the process is making it’s way into the paintings. I can’t wait to do more – there is nothing like sitting directly in nature (sometimes sweaty and prickly and rocky though it is! 🙂 and translating my awe and enjoyment onto the canvas.
