This painting was such a thrill to paint. I sat in the sunshine in the paddock and tried to capture the liveliness of the breeze waving the wildflowers around the huge old bluegum.
I loved painting straight from life like this! No chance to overthink it or agonize!
Just getting the story onto my canvas before the sun dries my paint.
