Butterfly and Banksia Rose – Fine Art reproduction

This banksia rose puts on a fleeting profusion of scented white flowers at the start of spring—sitting under it painting of an afternoon was very enjoyable. The butterfly swooped around and about—when it landed for a moment I couldn’t resist adding it to the painting.

The original is an oil on canvas 20 x 25 cm – the advantage of the small canvas is I can work quickly from life before the light shifts and the flowers die.

I have invested in having my originals professionally photographed in Brisbane so that they can be reproduced in very high quality.

These images are printed on high archival textured Cotton Rag 320gsm – they look and feel amazing. Made for framing behind glass they are printed with top quality inks tested to last over 100 years
